MEMBERSHIP TYPE * 

The biannual membership fee for the Association for Cultural Studies depends on your yearly gross income:

No membership fee (conference registration only)

10 EUR for gross income under 10 000 EUR (approx. USD 15 000) per year

25 EUR for gross income under 20 000 EUR (approx. USD 30 000) per year

50 EUR for gross income over 20 000 EUR (approx. USD 30 000) per year

The student rate is for students who have yet to receive a Ph.D. or comparable degree, and do not receive any funding for participating in the Crossroads Conference from their own department or other external sources. In order to be eligible for this low rate, you must have with you a copy of your student card or statement from your supervisor which shows that you are a student when signing in at the conference venue.

Terms of Cancellation 

   The registration cancellation and refund policy for the 2010 Association for
   Cultural Studies Crossroads Conference is as follows:      
                
    a.  The ACS must be notified in writing of any cancellation requests. 
    b.  Conference registration fee will be refunded in full for cancellations received 
        on or before May 30, 2010 with an administrative charge of EUR 35 deductible.
    c.  A 50% refund of the conference registration fee will be given for cancellations 
        received on or before June 05, 2010 with an administrative charge of EUR 35 deductible.
    d.  No refund will be given for cancellations received after June 5, 2010. 
    e.  For administrative reasons, refunds will only be made after the conference. Please 
        include your full bank account details and the address of the bank in your request.
